Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use GhostBook. By using it, you agree to them.

What GhostBook does

GhostBook shows last-minute openings from independent professionals. We don't provide the services ourselves, and the appointment is between you and the professional.

Booking Fee and In-Chair Price

Clients pay GhostBook a flat $2.99 Booking Fee in the app. Clients pay the In-Chair Price directly to the professional at the appointment. GhostBook never holds that money. The price shown on your confirmation is the price, and professionals must honour it.

Backing out and cancelling

• After the Reveal, you have 10 minutes to back out for free. That window is shorter when the opening starts soon.
• You get 2 free back-outs in any 7 days. After that, backing out costs the Booking Fee.
• If you cancel after the Reveal Window or don't show up, the Booking Fee isn't refunded.
• If the professional cancels or doesn't show up, the Booking Fee is refunded in full.

Professionals

Posting is free. By posting, you confirm that you're licensed or legally allowed to provide your services, and that you'll honour your bookings and In-Chair Prices. Repeated cancellations affect where your openings appear.

Conduct

Treat people with respect and use GhostBook honestly. You can report or block anyone. We can suspend an account that breaks these terms.
