Privacy Policy

Last updated November 2026

GhostBook is the app for last-minute appointments at discounted rates. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

How we use it

We use this information to show nearby openings, process bookings, send the notifications you've asked for, keep people safe, handle disputes and improve GhostBook. Waitlist details are used only to tell you about GhostBook's launch.

What other people see

A professional with a Ghost Profile stays hidden until a booking is confirmed. At the Reveal, the client sees the professional's name, photo and exact address, and the professional sees the client's first name, last initial and photo, if one was added.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with the services that run GhostBook: Clerk (sign-in), Supabase (database and storage), Stripe (payments), Expo (push notifications), Anthropic (Ghosty), Vercel (website hosting) and Formspree (website signup forms). We may also share information when the law requires it.

Your choices

You can turn off notifications and location in your device settings, and you can delete your account in the app. Deleting it removes your profile and files. Past bookings stay on the other person's record, shown as "Deleted account". To leave the waitlist or ask about your data, email support@ghostbook.app.
